1986. Song of Encouragement. I bought the CD when it came out and just happened to see it in the CD rack. Then its playing on the story of the Menendez Brothers (Monsters) on Netflix.

Oh I remember that tune. Can't for the life of me remember what year but I remember hearing it and liking it. I need to do some searching for more from these guys. Did they have any other popular songs? I'm drawing a blank.

Hi Walter. They are from New Zealand. The song is from 1986 and as far as I know they were a one-hit wonder. Good album as well. Titled simply "Crowded House".

That song definitely got some serious airplay back in the day. Too bad they didn't have more popular songs because that one was really good.
